MAF Working Groups

Launched in 2022: 3 working groups to streamline our collective work

Working Group #1:

Partnership to End Gendered Islamophobia

Building upon a history of shared values and intersecting work, the Partnership to End Gendered Islamophobia brings together organizations to build analysis, tools and power to dismantle Gendered Islamophobia. “Gendered Islamophobia consists of the ways the state utilizes gendered forms of violence to oppress, monitor, punish, maim and control Muslim bodies. (JMC, 2019)”. Sitting at the intersection of the Reproductive Justice, Gendered Violence, and the War on Terror, the organizations in this working group are committed to uplifting Gendered Islamophobia in all these fields.
